The Flame of Love Movement itself (as movement, specifically set into motion by Our Lady herself) has the Apostolic Blessing of Pope Francis and was encouraged by Pope John Paul II. The movement was set into motion through a relationship that Our Lord and Our Lady enkindled with a humble Hungarian mother of six, Elizabeth Szanto Kindelmann, who suffered tremendously for souls. Elizabeth received messages from Jesus and Mary between 1961 and 1982 about the Flame of Love (the love of Jesus) and recorded them in a diary.
But what exactly is the Flame of Love, you might ask?
The seer to whom Mary and Jesus appeared and entrusted the mission of spreading this movement asked this very question. To her they answered: Jesus: “My Immaculate Mother’s Flame of Love is to you what the Ark was for Noah!” While Our Lady said: “My Immaculate Heart’s Flame of Love is Jesus Christ Himself!”
As Father Alar, the "Father Joseph" of the Marians of the Immaculate Conception (the official promoters of the Divine Mercy message) so beautifully described in the video above, the purpose of the grace is to disable Satan’s stronghold on souls, so that souls can be open to receiving an outpouring of grace implored by Our Lady. This grace that we will receive will enable Mary, as Mother of God and of Humanity, to form Christ more fully in each heart. With Christ more fully formed in our hearts, the world will be prepared for the Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart, which will thus invoke the Coming of the Spirit again (a Second Pentecost), and will lead to a greater indwelling of the Holy Trinity in souls - thus putting humanity on a proper footing for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ!
Mary said Herself, “Since the Word became Flesh, I have never given such a great movement as the Flame of Love that comes to you now. Until now, there has been nothing that so blinds Satan.”
Receive this grace, and join us in prayer, as we implore Our Lady to pour out this powerful grace into the world: "Spread the effect of grace of Thy Flame of Love over all of humanity."
