Jesus told Elizabeth, "A great battle awaits you, but you will conquer in the sign of the cross. When you make the cross, think of the three Divine Persons. Make the sign of the cross five times, while thinking of my Five Wounds."
For a long time, I did not dare to record Our Lady’s petition, “When you pray the Hail Mary, include the following petition, ‘Spread the effect of grace of thy Flame of Love over all of humanity.’” When the bishop asked why this should be done, Jesus explained, “Because of the Holy Virgin’s efficacious pleas, the Most Blessed Trinity granted the outpouring of the Flame of Love. For her sake, you must place this prayer in the Hail Mary” (February 2, 1982). Mary said, “I want to awaken humanity by this petition. This is not a new formula but a constant supplication (p. 45-46).
Immaculate Mary, Queen of Heaven and earth, Mother of Mercy and Our Mother, through whom Almighty God has deigned to extend the most powerful Grace to mankind since the Word became flesh, we consecrate to you this day, completely and forever, the Flame of Love Apostolate, formed to assist you in saving your children, accelerating your Triumph, and welcoming the Second Pentecost of the Holy Spirit.
The following prayers are basic to the Flame of Love Holy Hour:
My adorable Jesus,
As the National Director of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Movement in the United States, Anthony Mullen, states very well:
Lord, have mercy on us.
We are all called to spread the effects of grace of Mary’s Flame of Love among your families, friends and parishes. In taking up Her cause, an important requisite is to join a cenacle (meaning “the upper room”). To Elizabeth, the Virgin kept insisting, “Take up my Cause. You cannot rest. Do not be tired. Do not give up. All interested in my Cause must come together.” She kept insisting, “Do this. I am the one who urges you.”
At the end of each cenacle, the following prayer is said to help each person receive the Flame of Love. Each person is ideally given a candle that will be lit towards the end.
